The estate agency Cushman & Wakefield is to seek as much as €52 million for the former Debenhams store in Henry Street, Dublin, when the property is brought to the market in the coming weeks.
Receivers Grant Thornton instructed Cushman to seek a buyer for the store and the former Debenhams store on Patrick Street in Cork in recent weeks. The sale is likely to be a big test of the strength of prime retail property in both cities.
Bank of Ireland appointed Grant Thornton as receiver over properties at Henry Street in Dublin and Patrick Street in Cork earlier this year. The Cork store is expected to guide at €15 million to €17 million.
