More details have been revealed of a £10m new leisure and hospitality experience which is set to open later this year in Liverpool ONE.
The £100,000 sq ft flagship venue marks Gravity Active Entertainment’s largest site to date and has been designed by Townscape Architects, occupying the upper two floors of the former Debenhams.
The concept introduces the brand’s first-ever roof top bar, as well as multi-level e-karting, bowling, urban golf, and a F&B offer that includes a bar concept and live entertainment.
The scale of Gravity Liverpool ONE will mean the brand will offer more than 12 unique immersive and experiential activities.
Gravity Liverpool ONE is expected to attract more than 700,000 visitors per year and will employ in excess of 250 people.
Michael Harrison, co-founder and chief growth officer at Gravity, said: “This is a significant step in our journey, with the new Liverpool ONE flagship bringing together everything we have learned, as we continue to evolve our experiences to offer something that is truly redefining UK leisure.”
Alison Clegg, managing director, asset management, Grosvenor, added: “The fly through and visuals really bring to life the scale, ambition and significance of what Gravity is creating in Liverpool ONE. This is going to be a fantastic new anchor that provides additional reasons to visit or extend an existing trip, and reaffirms Liverpool ONE’s position as the UK’s leading retail and entertainment destination.”
