Some residents inside burning building in downtown Los Angeles
LAFD crews are working to put out a fire at two-story building in downtown Los Angeles Sunday. Some residents are still believed to be inside on the second floor.
LOS ANGELES – Crews are battling a fire in a building in downtown Los Angeles Sunday afternoon while some residents are still inside according to officials.
Los Angeles Fire Department crews responded to the scene at 600 E. Agatha St. around 5:19 p.m. Sunday. The building is a two-story building, with residences above one floor of commercial storefronts. LAFD believes some of the residents are still inside the building.
Firefighters are cutting holes in the roof of the building for ventilation while crews firefighting and search and rescue crews enter the building.
