Developers of South Fort Worth industrial park are planning another huge building.
Fort Worth-based developer Rob Riner Cos. is building the more than 500-acre Carter Park East on Oak Grove Road southeast of the intersection of Interstate 20 and Interstate 35W.
Last month, the developer filed plans with the state for two big warehouses in the project with more than 1 million square feet. The $69 million project is scheduled to open next year.
Now Riner Cos. affiliates are planning another 1.4 million-square-foot industrial building in the project to be constructed at 7777 Oak Grove, according to details provided to the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation.
The $63 million development was designed by Dallas’ RGA Architects and will open at the end of 2024.
Rob Riner Cos. has been developing buildings in Carter Park East for several years. The business park is home to a major distribution center for retailer HomeGoods.
Up to 7 million square feet of warehouse and distribution space is planned in the business park, which is being built with Clarion Partners and Crow Holdings.
Stream Realty is marketing industrial space in the business park.
South Fort Worth is one of the area’s fastest growing industrial markets with more than 5.5 million square feet of construction.
