Core Optimisation, one of Ireland’s fastest growing independent agencies has today announced details of Core Consults, a new division of the business that will be overseen in the UK by former Epiphany MD Tom Salmon.

Salmon takes up the role of non-executive director at Core Optimisation, which will have UK hubs in Leeds, Sheffield and Manchester. He will be supported by experienced digital strategist John Jackson and a UK-wide business development team.

In a welcome example of post-Brexit EU investment in the Northern England, Core Consults will connect clients to experts in growth, channel, data, analytics and technology.

Core Optimisation was established in 2015 by Caroline Dunlea and David Brett and has now grown to a 43-strong agency, advising on and implementing transformative digital strategies for a broad range of sectors. It has partnered with leading hospitality, retail, and finance clients including Irish shoe giant Greenes and plush Mayfair hotel and club St James’s. It is currently managing the multi-million euro national digital transformation project for 1,300 plus visitor experiences and tourist attractions throughout Ireland for Failte Ireland (Irish Tourism Authority).

Founders Dunlea and Brett said: “Core Consults is the next step on our expansion journey and the appointment of Tom provides us with vital industry veteran leadership that positions us at the forefront of UK customers’ minds. Tom’s proven expertise in growing and leading large agencies will play a key part in our UK and other European market growth.”

They added: “Core’s commitment is good news for UK brands that want to build their digital capabilities with a European partner, and for European brands that want to enter the UK market.”
