Panattoni is opening up another market – this time the developer has chosen Radom, the largest city in Mazowsze following Warsaw. The Panattoni Park Radom distribution centre, which will have an area of 44,200 sqm at full build out, is being constructed 10 minutes from the S7 and 10 km from Warsaw-Radom airport. The first two buildings with a combined area of 13,500 sqm are to be completed at the end of 2022/beginning of 2023 and they already have tenants from the logistics and grocery sectors.

Panattoni Park Radom is being constructed 10 km from Warsaw-Radom airport and will comprise 44,200 sqm. The developer has seen the huge potential of this location, which gives it excellent and steady access to workers from a population of over 200,000 people. “Over 25,000 businesses operate in Radom and the city has become a crucial centre for metalworking industries in the country. Moreover, the opening up of the region with modern industrial space and its strategic location at the crossroads of important European road transport routes increases its attraction for the logistics, production and e-commerce sectors. The low costs of doing business in an attractive location in comparison to the largest warehouse markets also represent a huge advantage”, says Katarzyna Osińska, Development Director from Panattoni.

At the end of 2022/beginning of 2023, The developer is to deliver the first two halls of Panattoni Park Radom with a combined area of 13,500 sqm, of which 8,500 sqm has already been leased out to companies from the grocery and logistics sectors. The third building of 30,690 sqm is to be built next year. The space may be used by local companies that will be able to improve their businesses due to the decision to take on class A space as well as by national and international companies for their logistics, production, e-commerce or traditional warehousing needs.

Panattoni Park Radom is to be developed on the city limits in the Wincentów district and will take full advantage of the potential of the city’s location. It will be sited next to Regional Road 735 which will give it quick access to the S7 expressway with a drive of less than 1.5 hours to Warsaw. Moreover, it connects Radom with the South of Poland (including Kraków) and the north (Gdańsk). Being situated in the eastern part of the country also gives the possibility of serving emerging markets such as Lublin. Due to numerous environmental and well-being solutions the park is to be awarded a BREEAM certificate with a rating level of ‘Excellent’, far ahead of current building standards.

In 2021, the developer completed a BTS development of 12,820 sqm for US-based AZZ Specialty Welding Europe – an international supplier of galvanising solutions as well as various coatings for metals, welding services, specialist electronic equipment and highly advanced engineering services for building conservation and critical infrastructure construction.
