Sales are now underway for Wonder Lofts, a condominium property at 720 Clinton Street in Hoboken, New Jersey. Designed by MVMK Architecture + Design and developed by Prism Capital Partners, Angelo Gordon, and Parkwood Development, the offering includes 83 units that range from two- to five-bedroom residences.

The development also includes a newly constructed five-story building located across the street. The adjacent property houses 15 residences, several of which include private yards.

The main building at 720 Clinton Street was originally constructed in 1909 and served as a baking facility for Wonder Bread. The building was converted for residential use, but maintains many historic elements of the original design. This includes restoration of original brick details, archways, and window openings, as well as the original smokestack and water tower.

Workshop/APD, a Manhattan-based studio, oversaw interior design across both buildings.

The property’s 14,400 square feet of amenities include a landscaped roof deck, an infinity pool with lounge chairs, a circular outdoor bar underneath the preserved water tower, gas barbecue grills, and abundant dining and lounge seating areas with fire pits. An indoor lounge on the second floor features an elegant living room that leads to a lushly landscaped patio with additional seating areas. A floor-to-ceiling brick, double-faced fireplace separates the living room from an open-concept dining room and entertainment kitchen, and an adjacent billiards and game room.

Additional amenities include a children’s playroom, a large fitness and yoga studio, a screening room, co-working areas, pet grooming stations, and an onsite parking garage with electric car charging stations.

To date, more than 40 percent of available homes have already sold. Owners will also receive a dedicated parking space with their purchase.

“This is one of the most highly anticipated residential sales openings on the New Jersey Gold Coast in recent memory,” said Robert Fourniadis, senior vice president, Residential of Prism Capital Partners. “Interest has been high from buyers on both sides of the Hudson River, particularly those who originally set their sights on townhomes and brownstones and were excited to find they could receive a comparable amount of living space at Wonder Lofts while also enjoying modern amenities, considerable outdoor space, and historic charm.”
