Thanks to the Brightech string lights, you can feel as though you’re visiting a cool bistro while you relax, eat, and enjoy the company of your family members and friends outside—all without leaving home. The set comes with 27 feet of string lights, which includes 12 Edison bulbs. And the best part is you don’t have to worry about plugging the lights into an outlet. Instead, they have a hidden feature: they’re solar powered. Amazon shoppers have certainly taken note of the best-sellers, because the set has more than 15,000 five-star ratings.

“These outdoor solar lights were so fantastic, I thought I would share just in case you are like me and shop and research endlessly to find the perfect product,” said one shopper who typically doesn’t write reviews. They added that the lights “installed easily,” look “as good as the images on the reviews, if not better,” and have performed well even in the rain.

The commercial-grade, weatherproof LED string lights are easy to set up, too. You simply hang them overhead or drape them around the perimeter of your deck (pro tip: zip ties or a guided wire can help to keep them in place). The final step is to clip the solar panel to your patio, or stake the panel into the grass. Allow your panel to soak up six hours of sunlight (direct sunlight is best), then enjoy your illuminated string lights for up to six hours every night. You can expect your lights to last for up to 20,000 hours, which equates to more than two years of nightly use, even in bad weather.

“Since installation, it has rained heavily—the winds have blown for several days… but the lights light every night,” shared another shopper who added that the set is “terrific.”
