These restaurants are selling take-home feasts – Orange County Register

Most restaurants will be closed on Christmas Day, which falls on a Monday this year, but some chains are offering take-home feasts with turkey, ham or prime rib throughout the holiday season.

Most of the meals are heat-and-serve and will require two to three hours for preparation as well as ordering in advance. Check with the restaurant chains on their requirements.

Claim Jumper Restaurant & Saloon: Holiday platters serve six to eight people and feature roasted turkey, smoked ham or both with mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, vegetables and pie. Prices are around $135-$145.

Coco’s Bakery Restaurant: Heat-and-serve holiday feasts are available with 24 hours notice through Jan. 1. Turkey or ham feasts cost $99 and feed four to six people with a choice of pie, according to an order form on the diner’s website.

Corky’s Kitchen & Bakery: A ham dinner serves 12 and costs $179, according to the Inland chain’s website. Orders are available for pickup the week before Christmas.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store: Holiday heat-and-serve dinners with ham cost $139.99 for four to six people and $189.99 for eight to 10 people. Prime rib dinners cost $159.99 and serve four to six people. Pickup is Dec. 21-28. Stores will be closed Christmas Day.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit: A holiday buffet for 10 includes the choice of two smoked meats, three sides and bread, starting at $192.90.

Marie Callender’s: Holiday feasts for six to eight people include turkey, ham and prime rib. Prices range from $159.99-$229.99. Pickup is 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Dec. 22-24.
